Admissions Process

Welcome to the Islamic School of Staten Island. We are excited to have you join the ISSI family! 

Please review the steps required to start the application process!

To Apply for New Students:

First Step: Online Application

 

The first step is the payment of the non-refundable application fee is required. You can find the application here.

 
Second Step: Schedule Family Interview
​

One of the next steps in the registration process is your Family Interview. This meeting helps ensure a smooth start by reviewing important information, answering any questions you may have, and making sure your child is fully prepared for the program.

 

A member of our team will reach out to you to schedule this meeting at a convenient time for your family.

 

We look forward to connecting with you and welcoming you to our community!

 
Third Step: Secure your child's Seat
 To secure your child's seat for the upcoming school year, a $2,000 non-refundable deposit must be made . The deposit will be deducted from the total tuition cost per child.

Fourth Step: Upload Required Documents.

 

Once payment has been submitted, parents need to upload the required documents for your child, including:

​

  • Birth Certificate

  • Health Records 

  • IEP (if applicable)• 504 Plan 

  • Most recent report card 

 

You will receive a follow up email after step 3 to upload required documents. Submitting these documents allows us to be fully prepared to support each student from the start of the school year.

The first step is the payment of the $200 non-refundable application fee is required. You can find the application here.

 
Second Step: Secure your child's Seat
 To secure your child's seat for the upcoming school year, a $2,000 non-refundable deposit must be made . The deposit will be deducted from the total tuition cost per child. â€‹
