Admissions Process

Welcome to the start of something special

All applications and materials submitted after the third wave are reviewed on a rolling basis as long as space remains available.  Once all required admissions steps have been taken, the ISSI Admissions Committee will review your admissions files and contact you with further information.

First Step: Interest Form

 

Parents are required to submit an interest form in order to start the application process for their child. The interest form is a short questionnaire that allows prospective students and their families to express interest in attending the school..

 

This does not serve as a formal application

Once the interest form is submitted, the admissions office will reach out to you with the next steps.

Second Step: Visit the Islamic School of Staten Island.

This opportunity allows your family to get all of your questions about ISSI answered in a more intimate environment while also having a chance to see the campus. .

Third Step: Apply and Submit Documents

 

Complete the Online Application Form
Once the first two steps are completed, our admissions office will reach out to you via email to submit your application online and pay the $200 non-refundable application fee. 

 

Schedule Interviews 

Once you have had a chance to complete your application, an ISSI Team member will contact you to schedule parent and student interviews.

 

Fourth Step: Acceptance into ISSI

Lastly, once your child is accepted into ISSI, $2,000 non-refundable deposit must be paid to secure their seat in the school.

​

The ISSI admissions office will send to parents via email our Enrollment Agreement document which must be reviewed and signed by parent/guardian.

 

The final items required for admission are the following: 

  1. Birth Certificate 

  2. Updated health records/immunization records

  3. Final Report Card â€‹
